The issuance of the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Regulation Number 13 of 2025 mandates the implementation of the deep learning approach in all educational units starting in the 2025/2026 academic year; however, some Muhammadiyah school teachers in Sorong Regency do not yet comprehensively understand its concepts, principles, and implementation strategies. This community service activity aims to improve teachers' conceptual understanding and practical skills in designing and implementing mindful, meaningful, and joyful deep learning-based instruction. A participatory approach was used, consisting of needs analysis, interactive training, mentoring in preparing Deep Learning Lesson Plans (RPM), peer-teaching simulation, and evaluation using a pretest–posttest and response questionnaires. The activity was attended by 42 teachers from Muhammadiyah elementary, junior, and senior/vocational high schools throughout Sorong Regency. The results showed an increase in the average understanding score from 52.4 (fair) in the pretest to 81.7 (good) in the posttest, with an N-Gain of 0.62 (moderate). A total of 85.7% of participants successfully developed lesson plans containing the principles of mindfulness, meaningfulness, and joyfulness, and 90.5% responded positively to the activity. This training and mentoring effectively increased the readiness of Muhammadiyah school teachers in Sorong Regency to implement the deep learning approach, and further community-based mentoring is recommended.
